Father's
Love is a children's outreach ministry of Living Waters Church that the Lord
called into existence in 1995. It started as a ten week Vacation Bible
School at Operation Care in downtown Shelbyville. The Lord gave us
three neighborhoods of children that He wanted to bring to Him.
Martinsville, Lynn Acres, and downtown Shelbyville are still those areas in
which we minister. Growth over the years has led us to meet at Living
Waters Church.
Our
goals for the time we spend with the children and their families are these:
To
help lead them to a life that reaches out to the love of the Heavenly
Father, Christ their Savior, the Holy Spirit their Helper.

To
help them be "hearers" of the Word and teach them to assess
their life situations so they will be "doers" of the Word.

To
provide them with an outlet for the gifts that God has placed in them,
so that they may grow into an understanding of how He wants them to
serve Him.
Father's Love meets every Monday night from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at Living Waters
Church. The buses leave Operation Care at 5:45 pm to begin picking up
children in their neighborhoods. If your child does not live in the
Village Lane area, Martinsville, or downtown, you may bring them to
Operation Care to be picked up for the service. Children will be
delivered back to Operation Care at 7:50 pm. Please call Living Waters
and let us know ahead of time if your child wants to come because your child
must have a signed release and a ministry T-shirt in order to attend.
