Men's Prayer and Intercession
Sunday, 9:30 - 10:15 am
Thursday, 7:00 pm
Leader: Ed Preston
Location: Room 4, Main Building
These men have been meeting together for several years praying for the needs of this body and community. Meetings are faith-filled times where men can share heart-felt needs and receive ministry from strong brothers in the Lord. The fellowship of brotherhood is strong and prayers of faith are often answered in this group. If you would enjoy linking arms with other men in prayer and friendship, this group is a great place to land.
Prayer and Intercession Group (Co-ed)
Sunday, 9:30 - 10:15 am
Leader: Regina Chadwell
Location: Prayer House
This group is designed for those who are led to come pray for anything and everything that the Holy Spirit brings to our attention. We pray for the sick, those in need, the church, and nations of the world. We minister to one another when led and have seen miraculous breakthroughs in many areas. (Sounds like a lot for 45 minutes, but we serve a great God!) Come join us as we seek the Lord and His presence every Sunday morning at 9:30.
Living By The Spirit or
What Has God Shown You This Week?
Sunday, 9:30 - 10:15 am
Leader: Karen Carpenter
Location: TBA
This is an interactive study of the Holy Spirit and how He can guide us through our daily lives—in making decisions, improving our Godly character, and moving in His gifts. We will investigate the difference between soulish and spiritual motives, and how to lessen carnality and increase spirituality. We will also explore topics such as loving by the Spirit, listening for the voice of God, how to choose His ways over our ways, how to better obey Him, and how He speaks to us through alternate means as dreams and visions. This is meant to be a very “hands-on”, “where you are in your life right now”, type of class.
We welcome you to join us on this adventure that we hope will change all of our lives. Gal. 5:25 - “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”
Heal, Cleanse, Raise, Cast Out, Discern
Sunday, 9:30 - 10:15 am
Leader: Tim Marcum and Jon McCain
Location: TBA
Matthew 10:7-8 says, “And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Smith Wigglesworth was ministering at the end of a service with a long line of people and in that line were two deaf people. Both were healed, but Smith Wigglesworth prayed healing for one and cast out a demon in one. At the end of the ministry time, those who were assisting him asked “Two deaf people were healed tonight, but you dealt with them in two different ways, what was the difference?” Brother Wigglesworth shrugged his shoulders and said, “One had a physical problem and one had a spiritual problem.”
In this class we are going to study healing, faith, evil spiritual strongholds, discerning the difference, and how to approach each situation in our lives with a discerning spirit.
