A Word from Joel

At Last!  The long anticipated mystery of the “seismic shift” of change for Living Waters Church is solved!  The shift concerns the Wednesday evening gathering times only.  The purpose is an attempt to involve more young couples with children who, understandably, have trouble with the later times of service.

So, the first of three components of the adjustment regarding Wednesday evening is the time:  We will meet sharply at 6:30 p.m. and will end just as sharply at 8:00 p.m.!  As you know this is a major modification for us in our history as a Fellowship.

The second element of the alteration concerning the mid-week gathering is the format:  We are breaking down the Word of God into topics that are relevant to our families and singles now.  Please click here to see some of the first subjects offered.

The third factor of change respecting our Wednesday evenings:  We will utilize the entire facility to make available “right-sized” rooms for the “bite-sized” presentations.  Also, the sanctuary will be alive with a special speaker or bible teacher who is sharing the Word of God with us.  Some will be invited guests and others will be “in house” pastors, etc.

The date of the shift?  Wednesday evening, September 3, 2008.
